Our farm started 6 generations
ago. It now combines two family exploitations where Serge
and Louisette were born. On this farm, we cultivate
316 acres of grain but we also make cider, apple juice, ratafia and cider
vinegar. We produce about 18,000 bottles of cider made with
cider apple varieties from our own orchard . |
|
We invite you to drop in at our farm and visit the apple and cider museum.
You will discover the parrot-wheel cider-press which has functioned for two centuries, the horse-drawn stone mill with its two-ton sandstone mill and the history of cider making in the Pays d'Othe. |
|
Our orchard lies on a calcareous,
clay based soil, which gives a fruity, slightly acid beverage. |
The visit ends in an old stable converted into a tasting room where you will
inevitably taste our hand-made traditional products.
